May 2023 Fishing Report, Maps Loon Lake, Union Valley
Recent plants have made fishing great at Loon
Most anglers like to troll at Loon. Trolling near the dam at in the evening or morning Sling Blades with dodgers or Rapalas around 12 feet deep.
Shore fishermen are catching fish on the lake below the concrete structure on the lake on north side. Use orange and yellow Power Bait.
Focus on casting right off the shelf near the structure, the intake to Union Valley Reservoir.
The lake is producing rainbows but brown trout up to 20 inches occasion, but as big as 12 lbs. Good Luck!
